He invented the Finch Windmill an arm conditioning machine which Jennie started using when she was 10 years old. In high school, she threw six perfect matches as well as 13 no-hitters. After that, she attended University of Arizona, where as a pitcher and a first baseman, she was all-time All-American three times. In addition, she won the Honda Award as the nation's top softball player of 2001 when the Wildcats took home the title of national champions and in 2002. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Teams (WWAST) purpose is to increase awareness via shows and popular softball matches of the sacrifices, perseverance and dedication of our soldiers and demonstrate their capability to conquer any challenge.
